<h2>&nbsp;</h2><h2><strong>Valenciaport Vision</strong></h2><p>“The Port of Valencia is one of the leaders in the Mediterranean Sea in container transport with more than 5.4 million TEUs moved in 2019. Besides, it heads the ranking of the Top 10 Smart Ports of the Spanish port system, which reaffirms the commitment of the Port Authority of Valencia (APV) to strengthen its leadership position as a reference and strategic hub of the Mediterranean in container traffic, digitalization, innovation and transparency in the port industry and its commitment to sustainability.</p><p>The Valenciaport Hackathon is part of this ambition of the Port of Valencia to be an innovation leader, aiming to foster the development of port-city innovation clusters around the Port of Valencia. The Hackathon aims to combine new ideas, academic knowledge and talent from entrepreneurs and start-ups with the port-logistics community to enable the sustainable development of smart ports. For this reason, the port logistics community of the Port of Valencia proposes four ambitious challenges to be faced by the participants that represent an extraordinary opportunity for the port-logistics industry to transform their processes and procedures thanks to the inspiration of the innovation ecosystem, which will help them to convert their innovative ideas into concrete solutions.”</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h2><strong>COREALIS vision</strong></h2><p>The ambition of the COREALIS Incubator scheme is to foster the development of port-city innovation clusters by organizing a Hackathon in the Port of Valencia.</p><p>The Valenciaport Hackathon will combine academic knowledge and talent from entrepreneurs/start-ups with the port-logistics community to enable the sustainable development of intelligent ports.
